The Acresfield project in Garstang, Lancashire, showcases the quality and versatility of local craftsmanship. Central to the design is Abbeystead Yorkstone ashlar walling, supplied in three-course heights and enhanced with a chamfered plinth course, creating a refined and cohesive appearance.
To ensure architectural continuity, Abbeystead Yorkstone cropped and tumbled walling was carefully integrated, harmonizing with the ashlar coursing and maintaining a consistent aesthetic throughout the building. Adding a distinctive finishing touch, three large engraved boulders were incorporated, each serving as a unique feature that combines artistry with symbolic significance.
This project demonstrates the impact of thoughtful material selection and precise installation in commercial construction. Acresfield blends traditional craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities, resulting in a striking and enduring structure that reflects the heritage and skill of the region.
