Sales & Admin Executive

The Role:


We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in sales and administration within a similar industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound enquiries, closing sales, and managing the entire sales process—from order placement to after-sales follow-ups. In addition to sales activities, this role will involve general administrative duties, stock monitoring, and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Handle inbound and outbound enquiries via phone, email, and showroom visits.
  • Effectively close sales, ensuring a high conversion rate.
  • Guide customers through the sales process from initial enquiry to order completion.
  • Liaise with the manufacturing team to process orders accurately.
  • Coordinate order deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and logistics management.
  • Conduct after-sales follow-ups to maintain customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Administrative Support:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general enquiries.
  • Manage paperwork and sales records, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders with suppliers as needed.
  • Assist colleagues and provide support where necessary.

Marketing & Customer Outreach:

  • Send out targeted mailshots to new and existing customers to promote products and special offers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar industry (natural stone, construction materials, timber, or related fields).
  • A proven track record in sales with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Strong administrative skills, with the ability to manage orders and logistics efficiently.
  • Professional, energetic, and able to think on their feet.
  • Driven by sales and motivated to exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Google / Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in CRM use.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,960.00-£26,995.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Preston PR3 5AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
