Delivery & Collection

UNLOADING OF GOODS

The vehicle that makes the delivery will have facilities to unload. This can be done with a crane or a pallet truck and tail lift. Some vehicles have a mounted forklift truck and others have tipping bodies for loose deliveries (setts etc.)

ACCEPTING YOUR DELIVERY

Someone who has the authority to accept the goods will need to be onsite to receive the delivery. Please bear in mind that delivery schedules can rarely be pinned down to specific times. We do aim to meet agreed delivery times however, as there are factors beyond our control we require some flexibility with deliveries.

DELIVERY TIMES

This will depend on the details of your order. Many products are kept in stock, but many orders are produced to the customer’s specifications. To obtain an idea of a timescale it is advised to contact us to ascertain how long the order will take and then the delivery process.

TYPES OF WAGONS USED FOR DELIVERY

The size of the vehicle making the delivery can vary. If you have any concerns about large vehicles having difficulties in your locality, or in gaining access to your property then please get in touch with us to discuss this prior to ordering.

PACKAGING

Our products are shipped in a variety of ways. For example, paving slabs are generally shipped in wooden crates or stacked on pallets. Walling stone can be delivered on pallets, in large builder’s bags even loose in tipping wagons. Setts can be sent in bags or loose in tipping lorries. If you have any specific requirements then please mention this at the time of ordering. This way we can facilitate your requirements and keep the costs as low as possible.

NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR ORDER

If you have bought from us online, by phone or by mail, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, except for personalised or made‑to‑order items and any other goods that are exempt from cancellation by law. This legal right is explained in our Terms and Conditions and is not affected by the policy below.

Apart from your legal rights (including where goods are faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose), we do not offer returns or refunds for unwanted items or if you change your mind. Where you exercise a legal right to cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own cost and risk, in the condition required by law, and refunds will be made to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods or evidence that they have been sent back.

Personalised, made‑to‑order or other excluded items are only refundable where required by law (for example if they are faulty).
