Completed Project Acresfield Leisure Centre

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Garstang, Lancashire, the Acresfield project stands as a true testament to the beauty of local craftsmanship. At its heart lies the exquisite Abbeystead York Stone ashlar walling, a breathtaking display of artistry and finesse.

Supplied in three-course heights, the ashlar walling boasts a sense of grandeur, expertly crafted to elevate the building’s aesthetic appeal. A chamfered plinth course positioned midway up adds a touch of refinement, exemplifying the meticulous attention to detail that went into this remarkable construction.

To maintain architectural continuity, Abbeystead York Stone cropped & tumbled walling was thoughtfully incorporated, harmonizing perfectly with the ashlar coursing. This meticulous matching not only enhances the visual allure but also reflects a commitment to creating a cohesive design that stands the test of time.

As a finishing touch that exudes elegance, three large boulders were meticulously cut, polished, and engraved, adding a distinctive touch to this stunning building. Each boulder stands as a unique work of art, carrying a symbolic significance that resonates with the spirit of the surroundings.

The Acresfield project is a true celebration of local artistry and natural beauty, a testament to the skilful craftsmanship of the region. It captures the essence of Lancashire’s timeless charm while embracing modern sensibilities, resulting in a captivating space that harmoniously blends heritage with contemporary design.

With each stone thoughtfully placed and every detail carefully considered, Acresfield is more than just a building – it is a work of art, an embodiment of the rich history and vibrant culture that defines Lancashire. As the sun casts its golden hues upon the Abbeystead York Stone, the beauty of this local project shines through, leaving a lasting impression on all who have the privilege to behold its splendour.
