With the sun shining at the Stone UK office today, it is clear that Summer has well and truly arrived and hopefully here to stay!

As warmer days have finally crept in, we can look forward to spending time relaxing in the garden and soaking up that summer sun. The lighter evenings are definitely an excuse for a BBQ and spending more time outdoors with family and friends.

But whilst we try to make the most of this glorious weather, we turn to our gardens and outdoor living spaces which may be in need of a spruce up after being ignored throughout the colder seasons.

Our Reclaimed Yorkstone Paving (as seen pictured) is perfect for creating a traditional and beautiful look. With much of our reclaimed stone being sourced from old buildings or streets, there is never a lack of character. It is exciting to know that each of our clients will have a unique look with no two pieces being replicated.

The recent release of Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2017 entwines perfectly with using natural stone within home design. The colour ‘Greenery’ represents a fresh and revived shade that illustrates the flourishing foliage and lushness of the great outdoors. By using natural stone in your garden, you can complement this style idea perfectly with a natural product.

Trends within home design have also seen bifold doors and floor-to-ceiling windows attempting to bring the outdoors in, especially when the British weather can be so unpredictable. All of our Yorkstone Paving products are perfect for both interior and exterior use to achieve a consistent and integrated look.
